In this screening series, Edward Lam Dance Theatre showcases four of the company’s original stage works written between 1997, the year of the handover, and 2000, the year of extensive educational reforms in Hong Kong – two events that had a major impact on the dreams and aspirations of the young people of Hong Kong.

Each screening is followed by a discussion session with Edward Lam.

If a black rainstorm warning or a typhoon signal no. 8 or above is in force 3 hours before the start of the screening, the screening will be cancelled.


  • Classification for these films is currently being assessed. In the event that a film is classified as Category III, refunds will be arranged for ticket holders under 18 years of age who purchased tickets before classification is announced. 
  • If you are a wheelchair user or a person with a disability you are entitled to buy one ticket at a concessionary price and one additional ticket at the same price for a companion.If there are more than two persons in your party, all other tickets will be at standard price unless the party members qualify for a concession in their own right.
