International Symposium on the Transmission of Cantonese Opera and Traditional Music 2019 on 5-6 October (Saturday and Sunday) is rescheduled. Details of the rescheduled arrangement will be announced on the West Kowloon Cultural District website www.westkowloon.hk in due course.

Co-presented by the Research Centre for Transmission of Cantonese Opera (RCTCO), the Department of Cultural and Creative Arts, EdUHK, and the Xiqu Centre, the International Symposium on the Transmission of Cantonese Opera and Traditional Music 2019 brings together local and international scholars, researchers, ethnomusicologists and practitioners to share and discuss insights and successful practices in the inheritance, education and creative development of xiqu and traditional music.
